Hexacord ia a recording label based in Italy.
Many of the soundtracks listed in this catalogue are either long deleted or world premiere releases,
finding their way onto disc for the very first time. These soundtracks are produced specifically for the
discerning soundtrack collector, released in very limited editions of just 500 copies.
Italian soundtracks are among the most collectible OST releases worldwide.
Produced with FANTASTIC cover artwork, and offering rare alternate takes never-before
commercially released, (or only available on ridiculously rare limited editions) these
recordings document the artistry of Italy’s greatest film score composers - Ennio Morricone,
Mario Nascimbene, Alessandro Alessandroni, Nora Orlandi, Luis Bacalov, Francesco De Masi and
many others – covering styles from Spaghetti Westerns, Funky Secret Agent films, Mondo psychedelica,
Italian Bossa and Cinecitta Lounge-Pop - all performed by the greatest session musicians of the era.
Professor Roberto Zamori, founder of the Hexacord label is responsible for the preservation,
archival cataloguing, restoration, re-mastering, production and marketing for the Hexacord and
GDM CD Club releases. Representing a wide musical spectrum of Italian cinema from the early 1960’s
up to the present day, Professor Zamori’s goal is to provide soundtrack collectors with a true
cinematic experience – carefully preserving the original sonics and flavor of these lost treasures.
Stay tuned for upcoming releases, including the new “Wizards of Sound Series”
